Almost all of the end-game for Azur Lane is based around priority research, the content that comes from this ongoing collab. On the other hand, Azur Lane's long term longevity is pretty much inseparable from the wargaming content. At this point, I'm convinced that wg just sees the ongoing collab they have with AL as a cash cow that they only put the smallest modicum of effort into to meet the barest qualifications possible for "collab." ![]() There have been excessive delays too (its been months since we expected PR3 to land, and weeks since the collab content with AL released and it was even rumored that wg was having trouble with their side of the collab earlier this year). This pricing scheme is completely bonkers. I mean, some of those event skins just look completely uninspired. That or, wg doesn't care about the AL collab, and has completely misunderstood their customer base (or potential). These are mostly baseless theories, though. They might also be afraid of alienating the anti-anime side of the playerbase if they put too much effort into the content, or whatever. ![]() So now wg will never do extensive skins like that again b/c boomers were upset about an octopus riding a boat. My theory is that after the Halloween & Steampunk / Post-Apocolypse special skins, iirc a vocal minority had an uproar about how unrealistic they looked. I have a question.why is it that WoWS Blitz has skins that are actually close to looking like what Azur Lane ships look like compared to the skins that we were given the opportunity to get?
